Cloverdale Community Centre

Community Programs and Activities

Cloverdale is home to a range of general interest programs and activities. You can attend each week or every now and then. These programs generally have a fee attached, although we work hard to keep it to a minimum.

Note that our programs and activities are subject to COVID-19 protocols.

In 2021, our programs and activities include:

Cloverdale Singers: Our weekly community singing adapted to an online version, capably led by Hannah Reeves, during Term 2. The Singers will remain online for the time being. Tune in to the Centre’s Facebook page at 10am on Tuesday to join Hannah as she leads folk, gospel, rounds, ballads and part songs. Staff are working on options to bring the singers back together, in the same room, as soon as possible.

This is a musical gathering for those who have a grasp of the basics of ukulele and want to refine their skills including performing, strumming and chord progressions. The group meets on Thursdays, 10am-noon and the cost is $3 per session. Beginner classes are also available (bookings essential) for $3 per class.
